So, first off, the half blood prince is sooooo not evil. He was acting on Dumbledore's orders. Remember the arguement?
Sucks to be him though....I think that Dumbledore knew that it was probably going to happen. So he planned to gain an advantage by it.
Horrifying though!

Also, the note on the amulet refers Voldemort as the dark lord...the only people who call him that are bad guys or former bad guys.
The initials are RAB...Regulus Black? Maybe...I dont know. The madness!

Nicely written book...the mystery of the half blood prince was not very mysterious to me, but it was fun to watch it unfold. Very fun read. Cannot WAIT for the exciting conclusion!!!

yeah my first thought was regulus black too. He knew he was going to be dead soon and he was trying to do something to redeem himself in the end.

I read an interview with Jo and she taughted about this R.A.B. like it could have been someone else. Also, I think harry could be Voldy's last horcrux.

popo wants to know if you have a voltage transformer for the laptop. what did you use? she's leaving in two weeks so she's desperate. how many suitcases can you bring? how did you get your suitcases from the airport to the hotel. what service did you use to ship things to yourself and how much was it and how long did it take. How much was your hanko. Where did you find your hanko. can popo email you? she would need your email address. Or maybe we can all go out for lunch soon. very soon. thanks

Zounds! First off, tell Popo, everything is going to be OK.
The board of Ed will give her her Hanko. They may or may not charge you. Depends on the BOE. It will not be more than 50 bucks, possibley much cheaper, dont worry about the money the BOE will bill you later if necessary.
You can have two suitcases and a carry on. They can weight 70 pounds...the demensions allowed should be in some of the info she was sent or she can call the consolate. If she is sending books, she should box them and send them via the M-bag at the post office. Cheapest way.
As far as getting the bags from the airport, again the program will take care of you. The will ship them for you. Have the address you want them sent to and you will pay later.
Popo can email me...I would be glad to help. Tell her congrats! Where is she going? Give her my number if she wants. I would be glad to help. Dont let her freak out.

Also, she doesnt need a voltage adapter...the voltage is lower there, but enough to run a laptop. She might want a surge protector. You can get them there but I couldnt figure out how to ask for one...but I am sure she can get one there at Yamada denki if she looks up the kanji for it. :)

Oh! Good for her! Lots of the private English schools are pretty sweet. I can answer these questions.
To ship the bags use kuroneko, as in black cat. They are cheap and fast. They have a shop at Narita and drop off points all over Japan. The logo is a black cat on a yellow backgound. Their truks are every where! I sent a 35 pound suitcase from Nagano to Narita for just under 20 bucks. Not too shabby. Arrived within a day and a half.
Here is the catch. That being my sole kuro neko experience, I do not know if they drop luggage off to a specific address. But there is sure to be a nearby dropoff location for you to pick them up from. (I sent mine from a 7-11). I imagine they must be some way for them to help you establish a convinient pick-up station close to your address. At the airport, the kuroneko people spoke english.
Permissible luggage weight is determined by airline. Look up international flights with your airline and check it out.
As far as the hanko, there are hanko shops. Price will be determined by how many letters are necessary and materials used (wood, stone, plastic)
I am betting your employers will help you.
Hope that is helpful. :)

Um...I dunno how much of the baggage info you have was specific to JET...and Popo isn't with JET now...
Was it the airline or JET that set the rules? And JET was responsible for getting your bags from the airport to your house am I right? In which case, might you be able to give her any advice about getting her bags to her house? Maybe whatever you did for Ian? Just throwin' out some ideas.

(Oh yeah, and I didn't read the spoilers...)

For Ian, I had a Chuo Taxi pick him up and take him to and from Nagano. I used it to get to the airport. When you have a lot of bags, its a good way to go. If transport has not been arranged from the airport to your new home, then let me know. Its a good service if her ken is in range.
Where is she going?!
